Hampton Roads Creative Arts Network (HRCAN) Meet & Greet 2016

Was certianly an interesting experience at Back Bay Photography. Nestled in the Ghent Area, Back Bay Photography Studio hosted the first of HRCAN Meet & Greets of 2016. Where models, stylists, photographers, and other creatives gathered to mingle. Along with said mingling there was a Mardi Gras inspired shoot (where masks took center stage), and a few door prizes to be won!

(But we mostly mingled ❤ )

I met quite a few people during the small gathering… a few of the models rock out some of the masks I made (check out the pics below by the lovely Dana Chapman ❤ ) that I'd brought with me, and actually got behind the camera myself (not just for goofy picture making (Random Tidbit: I love getting in front of a camera, but I really hate my picture (there's very few pictures of myself I actually like) Anywho, I'm the one in the blue feather mask... don't I look pretty? ❤).

Afterwards, enjoyed some sushi (it's been forever since I've had sushi!) with some people from the gathering (it was like the gathering of the Ring (LOTR) or Magic; the Gathering plus foods, hehe... basically nerded out some more).

All in all, it was a pretty good evening.
