RVA Fashion Week Fittings
A few sundays back (April 3rd to be exact), we drove up to Richmond for RVA Fashion Week Fittings (the drive alone was an adventure in itself, traffic was was horrible… 2 hours spent at a slow crawl of what is normally an hour and haft drive and once we pass the accident, we made it to richmond at a Mach 5 speed just shy of 2pm (Go Dad driving!!!)).
The fittings where held at Off the Houkah, which was this renovated warehouse in downtown Richmond, it was so nice with its wood floors and causal lounge charm.
I can not tell you how awesome it is to be apart of this show! (my excitement to be involved just can't be express in words ❤❤❤❤❤❤)
Prior to Fittings, RVA has been keeping in touch, relaying information and letting the designer know what’s needed from them and what to except. Moving on to day of fittings, RVA had provided a space to set up and a helper (I love loved my helper! ❤❤❤ She was so sweet and had amazing input!) for each of the designers, as well as, a list of models (dEMONCH’s Vance and Bella are two of those models ❤❤❤) ready with their information to try on clothes. An hour later, I had all 12 models fitted and felt very excited for the upcoming show!
Afterwards, enjoyed some Buzz & Neds BBQ (Best BBQ Ever!!! ❤) before heading back to VB. All in all, it was a great experience and lovely afternoon!
